Skills for Life
Welcome to Havering Adult College Skills for Life. If you would like further information on any of our Skills for Life courses please call 01708 733763.
We are able to provide you with an opportunity to learn in a relaxed friendly environment.
If you would like to join one of our free English, Maths or Family Learning classes, get in touch with us.
We also provide English classes for speakers of other languages. These are fee paying and not free.

English and Maths
We provide free courses for beginners up to GCSE level. You can brush up on skills which may lead onto a nationally recognised qualification. For more information please call 01708 733763.
We have centres throughout Havering and courses run in the mornings, afternoons and evenings.

Family Learning

Have you wanted to know more about how children are taught literacy and numeracy at school? Parents, grandparents and carers in Havering have the chance to find out.
We run adult only courses for you to find out about the way children are taught and we have joint adult and children sessions.
You will have the chance to practice and improve your own skills to support children and some of the courses could lead to a nationally recognised qualification.

Initial assessment £25.00. Certificate of level provided. Initial assessment can be stand alone or for class entry. 10 week conversation classes £160.00
