Code of Conduct for Members
Currently, the Standards Committee has responsibility for considering complaints that a Member of the Council may have breached the Code of Conduct. The Assessment Criteria for investigation of a complaint can be downloaded from the right hand side of this page. For further information and advice please telephone 01708 432442.
Later in 2012-probably from 1 July- a new Code of Conduct and a new approach to complaints about Members will come into force as a result of the Localism Act 2011. Further details will be available in due course.
