Using our online planning searches facility you can view information on planning applications including plans and other documents. This service also allows you to comment on a current or live application. Please note your comments will form part of the planning application file which is a public document and could be inspected in the future, including over the Internet.
If you want to view a current planning application which is not available online, please visit our planning reception desk at the Public Advice and Service Centre within the Liberty Shopping Centre, Romford weekdays between 9am and 2pm.
We offer three forms of online search:
Application search - Information on all applications received since 1990, whether they are current or already decided. Copies of documents such as application forms and drawings are viewable only for applications received since January 2003.
Decision search - This search provides information only on applications that have had a decision issued since 1990. You can also view any conditions or reasons that have been included with the decision and view the actual decision notice for applications decided since January 2003.
Appeals search - search for any planning, Listed Building or advertisement appeals that have been lodged since 2003.
Please note that the information available through our online facility does not constitute a full planning history for a site and must not be used as a substitute for carrying out a formal Local Land Charges search.

If you experience any problems viewing plans or documents online please be patient and try again later, the problems are usually only temporary. If you continue to experience problems, it may be due to the settings on your computer.

You may only use material which is downloaded and/or printed for consultation purposes, to compare current applications with previous schemes and to check whether developments have been completed in accordance with approved plans.

The images on this website are either PDF files or scanned versions of paper originals, and may not appear to scale on your computer screen. Dimensions, where they appear on drawings, are the only reliable method of obtaining measurements from these images. If you wish to obtain accurate dimensions of a proposal please contact us.
Images may take a short time to appear on your screen depending on their size and the speed of your Internet connection, for this reason this online service is best used with a broadband connection.
