Where noise is arising from a domestic premises the client will need to demonstrate they have tried to resolve the matter themselves by completing a questionnaire. If this has not resolved the matter then the client will need to complete diary sheets recording the noise disturbances. This will become evidence which is essential for an investigation to proceed.
Where the noise arises from commercial or industrial premises arrangements will be made based on information provided by the client to visit by appointment and witness the noise being complained of.
