Determined admission arrangements for community, voluntary controlled, voluntary aided and foundation schools and academies in Havering for the school year 2013-14.

The determined admission arrangements for a maintained school or academy are the full set of arrangements which set out how a school will admit pupils. This includes the published admission number (the maximum number of pupils who can be admitted to the relevant year group: the Reception year for infant and primary schools/ academies, Year 3 for junior schools/ academies, and Years 7 and 12 for secondary schools/ academies); the oversubscription criteria that will be applied if there are more applications than places available, and information on how waiting lists will be ordered and maintained.

The admission arrangements for all schools and academies for the school year 2013-14 should have been determined by 15 April 2012.

Determined admission arrangements for community and voluntary controlled schools

Havering Council (the Local Authority) is the admission authority for all community and voluntary controlled schools in the London Borough of Havering. This means that the Council sets the oversubscription criteria and makes the decisions as to which pupils are admitted to these schools.

The determined admission arrangements for community and voluntary controlled infant, junior, primary and secondary schools in the borough can be viewed on this page.

Determined admission arrangements for foundation and voluntary aided schools and academies.

The admission authority for foundation and voluntary aided schools and academies is the governing body of the individual school/ academy.

The admission arrangements for all foundation and voluntary aided schools and academies are required to be displayed on the individual school websites. The links to these websites are provided below:
