On Saturday 12th September, a special celebration will run from 11am to 4pm with loads of free entertainment for the family.

It will be a fun-packed day in the Market Place to celebrate this most historic occasion of Her Majesty the Queen whilst she sets the record of 'longest reigning Monarch' in the UK.

Why not come along and be part of this enjoyable historic occasion that will include free on-street entertainment, face painting, food stalls, bouncy castle, performers, fairground rides, market stalls, music entertainments by live band etc.

Romford Market is an open street market which is owned and operated by Havering Council.

It's history dates back to 1247.​

Today the busy and vibrant market continues to thrive and is considered to be one of the largest and best street markets in the south-east.

It is located in the heart of four different shopping areas - The Liberty, Mercury Mall, The Brewery and Romford Shopping Hall.

The market offers a wide variety of products and there are various food stalls which also provide covered seating areas. Close by there is a large selection of bakeries, cafés, pubs and restaurants and so the market offers a attractive visitor experience for everyone.

Romford Market is especially seeking speciality traders.​

You can view the documents below for everything you need to know. We only accept fee payments by either Debit or Credit Cards (Visa, Maestro or MasterCard).

Fees

Casual traders pitch fees start from:

£17.80 per day for Wednesdays and Fridays; and
£25.05 per day for Saturdays

To trade, three documents are required:

  • Proof of Public Liability Insurance (minimum cover £5M)
  • One utility bill
  • A passport or photo driving licence
