The School Library Service is based at South Hornchurch Library and provides loan and advisory services to schools in Havering and Thurrock to support the national curriculum, the development of literacy, leisure reading and school improvement. The service is provided by a team of qualified experienced librarians with a wide knowledge of curriculum resources and all aspects of school library organisation and management.
The services we offer include: project loans; advice and practical help with library reorganisations and refurbishments; training in all aspects of school library management and development; advice, help and training in developing information skills through the school library.

Monday-Friday 9.30-4.30pm
