The Council has adopted the London Local Authorities Act 1991. To operate legally as a street trader, you must hold a street trading licence. This allows you to trade from a licensed pitch on a licence street. Anyone who does not hold a valid licence and is operating from an unlicensed pitch is trading illegally and is liable to prosecution.
