Local Development Framework (LDF) - latest news Havering's Local Development Framework (LDF) is a portfolio of documents which will set out the future planning of the Borough up to 2020.
Householder Appeals Service. A new Householder Appeals Service (HAS) has been introduced by the Planning Inspectorate.The new service relates to householder applications submitted after 6 April 2009 only and is intended to make the process simpler to understand. It requires less form filling and relies mainly on documentation already sent to the local planning authority.
Changes to permitted development rights were introduced by the Government on 1 October 2008. Detailed information can be found on the planning portal web site and an interactive guide to home improvements has also been produced which is available on Planning Portal - Guide to Home Improvements .
Duty Planner Service. Our duty planner service now operates between 9am and 1pm only.
The planning portal is an on-line resource for planning information and services. In addition to practical information, the portal can help you apply electronically for planning permission or appeal against a decision.
