- Freedom Pass Renewal 2010
2010 Freedom Pass re-issue will take place between 4 January and 6 February 2010. Your existing Freedom pass will expire on 31st March 2010 and you must renew it.
Freedom Pass issue problemsSome residents have contacted the Council to say that they have not yet received their new Freedom Passes. London Councils, which issues the passes, informed us that a batch of renewal forms submitted at the beginning of January was misdirected. However these have now been traced and are being processed. If you are one of the customers affected, please bear in mind that your existing Freedom Pass remains valid until 31st March. Your new pass should still reach you in good time. |
Under new arrangements, you can only apply for your Freedom Pass from any one of the 24 local Post Offices in Havering. The implementation of the new style photo ID card means your Freedom Pass cards will no longer be available at the time of application. Your application will take up to 10 days to process.
The re-issue period will start from 4th January 2010 unlike previous issues when it commenced from February. The early start is necessary to ensure that all pass holders have applied for their pass and received it through the post, prior to their existing pass ceasing to operate on 1st April 2010.
