Entry to the Best Rock Band competition has now closed |
Many thanks to all of you who placed an entry. The standard was very high, and selecting the final five was tough.
But the entries we received have certainly proved that Havering has ROCK TALENT!
The judges have now listened to the tracks nominated by the entrant band and, after very carefully consideration, they have selected the following five finalists to battle it out for the title of Romfest 09 Best Rock Band:

Each will have just half an hour to convince our discerning judges they deserve the title of Romfest 09 Best Rock Band and scoop the big prize of:
- a day in a top local recording studio
- an unplugged live set and interview on local radio, and
- the chance to perform in front of thousands at this year's big Romford Christmas Lights Switch-On
Come along and check them out for yourself. Cheer on your favourite and help the judges arrive at the right verdict.
Doors open at 5pm at Brannigans (South Street, Romford) on Sunday 27 September and entry is FREE.
And don't forget, London Blackmarket will be appearing at Brannigans straight afterwards to round off a great day of top-notch musical entertainment.
