Havering's Local Development Scheme (LDS) for 2010 - 2012 was approved and came into effect on 4 February 2010. The LDS sets out the Council's three year programme for preparing the Local Development Documents (LDDs) which make up the Local Development Framework.
The LDS serves two purposes. Firstly, as a tool for the Council to set out how it will project manage the preparation of its LDDs. Secondly, it informs the community and other stakeholders of the LDDs the Council intends to produce, their broad subject matter and when the consultation opportunities for each document will occur.
