This page will help you use the website. It will help you using the search and navigating the site.
I can't find what I am looking for
Site Map
If you are having difficulties finding the page you need, try the Site Map. This shows the first two levels of the website.
Search
You can search for what you are looking for. The search will initially look for all of the words you type into the search box, e.g. Council Tax. If it does not find what you are looking for, try using less words which should return more matches or on the search page change 'Find all words'to 'Find any words'in the drop down box.
If you get too many matches try being more specific, e.g. Council Tax Benefit.
The search will find similar words to the one you searched for, so Family, will also find families etc.
You can also just search by type of document. If you are looking for the minutes of a committee meeting for example, these are likely to be an Adobe PDF. Choose PDF from the drop down box with the word 'Standard'.
Standard is the usual way the search works, which will search for web pages, word documents and PDF's.
