Welcome to the Romford Market pages. Romford Market is an open market whose history dates back over 750 years when it originated as a sheep market.
Today the market continues to thrive and is considered to be one of the largest and best street markets in the South-east. In recent years the Council has invested approximately £8 million on improvements to drainage, lighting, surfacing and electricity supplies ensuring that the market experience is attractive to all who visit.
We produce regular newsletter, Market Matters, that you can download from the links on the right of this page.
