***News Update, June 2010*** - both the proposals for a new library and plans for new housing at Gooshays will be on display in Harold Hill Library from Tues 29 June to Fri 9 July.
***News Update, May 2010*** - this year's Harold Hill Summer Festival will be held on Sun 18th July, 12-5pm, Central Park.
Harold Hill Ambitions is a regeneration programme that aims to transform the quality of life for Harold Hill residents.
After an extensive consultation with local residents in 2007 and 2008, the Council has gave approval for the implementation of Harold Hill Ambitions programme in November 2008.
The programme includes areas of physical regeneration and creating opportunities for local people: (click on the links to the left of this page to find out more)
Creating Opportunities - improved quality of life for local residents
Hilldene Shopping Centre - improved shopping centre and new library
Learning Village - better facilities for people of all ages to learn and improve their skills (including an Academy with sixth form)
Whitworth and Broxhill - new homes and park with sports facilities
Gooshays - new homes and Youth Centre
Central Park - improved facilities
Briar Road - options to improve housing
