1-5 The Green, Havering-Atte-Bower
Late C18 row of 4 timber-framed cottages and a former forge, of varying widths. All of 2 storeys. Two eastern cottages weatherboarded, 2 western ones pebble-dashed. Rear single storey lean-to extension. One central stack with subsidiary rear stacks. Sash windows throughout in the upper storey. Ground storey with variety of windows, including 1 shop front. Single storey extension to the east.
Blue Boar Hill, Orange Tree Hill, Havering-atte-Bower
C16/C17, refronted in the C19. Timber-framed house with a brick front. Three windows wide, 2 storeys high. Larger stepped end stack on west gable, smaller brick stack on front roof slope. Sash windows to front with cambered heads. Two small rear wings also timber-framed. The building was a public house for part of the C19.
Bower Farm Cottage, Orange Tree Hill, Havering-atte-Bower
Circa 1840, in a Tudor style. Two storey; 3 bays, front floor with central porch with 4-centred arched entrance flanked by windows with hood moulds. First floor with 2 windows only each partly within the roof as a dormer. All windows complete with leaded lights in the shape of elongated hexagons. Elaborate bargeboards. Fishscale tiles to the roof which has an elaborate cresting. Red brick and stone dressings. Modern 2 storey wing at rear, not of special interest.
Bower House, Orange Tree Hill, Havering-atte-Bower
1729 by Henry Flitcroft. Small country house. Red brick, Welsh slate roof with modillion cornice; 2 storeys and attics. Entrance front 1-3-1 double-hung sashes in reveals with flat arches. Slight central projection with doorway composed of architrave, pulvinated frieze and pediment on enriched consoles. Garden front has two circa 1800 wings with canted bay windows, central doorway up steps with iron railings has surround of rusticated Roman Doric pilasters entablature with key blocks and pediment. Central pediment to both fronts. Country Life 17.3.44 describes the interior before the recent alterations. Staircase paintings by Thornhill are particularly important. The house is notable as Flitcroft's first commission.
Church of St. John the Evangelist, The Green, Havering-atte-Bower
1875-8 by Basil Champneys. Church comprising nave, chancel and south-west tower all in the Decorated style. Flint faced with stone dressings. The tower has an open east-west passage and open-work battlements.
Ivy Holt, North Road, Havering-atte-Bower
Early C19 double pile house. Possibly timber-framed, rendered, 2 windows wide, 2 storeys high. Verandah across whole front. Two ground floor bay windows with decorative fretted ornament to the heads. Sash windows throughout. End stacks, shallow pitched roof with slate coverings; modern porch to south.
Stable Block at Bower House, Orange Tree Hill, Havering-atte-Bower
Circa 1729 by Henry Flitcroft or possibly by Bridgeman who designed the landscape layout. Stables in front court at right angles to house. Similar materials. Two storeys with modillion cornice. Slightly projecting sides with large 2 storey rusticated arched panels, 3 central double-hung sashes. Modern bell-turret astride roof.

Wooden stocks and whipping post renewed in facsimile in 1966.
The Round House, Broxhill Road, Havering-atte-Bower
Circa 1792: built for William Sheldon. Oval villa, stucco, Welsh slate roof with eaves cornice. Roof culminates in oval copper parapet. Three storeys, 8 double hung sash windows, 3 windows on each flatter side, 1 window to each rounder side.
