Encouraging Reading, Supporting Learning
The School Library Service is based at South Hornchurch Library and provides loan and advisory services to schools in Havering and Thurrock to support the national curriculum, the national literacy and numeracy strategies, leisure reading and school improvement. The service is provided by a team of qualified experienced librarians with a wide knowledge of curriculum resources and all aspects of school library organisation and management.
