Day Opportunities Project
The aim of the Day Opportunities Project is to review and modernise day opportunities for all adults with care needs, in line with the national agenda of personalisation and the transformation of social care.
Day opportunities should offer people new and inclusive opportunities within their own communities - through work, education, volunteering, social and leisure activities. They should offer opportunities to build new relationships with other community members and to be seen and valued as committed and contributing community participants.
A proposed model for future day opportunities is currently out for consultation and the consultation document can be found to the right of this page under downloads.
