Childcare Provision during COVID-19

We have created this page  to share resources and information that may be useful to families and those working with children and young people during COVID-19

There is National Guidance and resources for parents that will support you during this time.

The Childcare Provison for Key Worker Children  is updated regularly but we cannot guarantee a vacancy as this is an ever changing picture, we will however do our best to keep this information as up to date as possible.

National Guidance

To limit the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), Government advice is that if children can stay safely at home, they should do so. The government has asked parents to keep their children at home, wherever possible, and asked schools to remain open only for those children who are vulnerable, and children whose parents are critical to the COVID-19 response and cannot be safely cared for at home.

The Department of Education Coronavirus helpline is available to answer questions about COVID-19 relating to education and children’s social care. Staff, parents and young people can contact this helpline on 0800 046 8687.

 

Opening hours: 8am to 6pm (Monday to Friday), 10am to 4pm (Saturday to Sunday)
