Redevelopment proposal goes to consultation

Havering Council has identified Queen Street sheltered housing scheme for closure and possible demolition and redevelopment.

Interim Director of Housing and Regeneration, Neil Stubbings, has held meetings with tenants and leaseholders to explain the proposals.

During Summer 2016, Sheltered Housing Team Leader, Sharon Nunn, and Queen Street Scheme Officer, Denise Smith and Lisa Matthews held meetings with each individual resident to identify their individual needs to help to relocate them to suitable alternative accommodation.

At the meetings family members or friends were welcomed to attend if the resident wished to invite them.

Consultation will continue as proposals are prepared so tenants and leaseholders can influence the final design of the new estate.

If you have already decided you want to move and have details please complete the Ask Housing form below.
