A large landscaped park originally designed by Sir Humphry Repton, consisting of a lake, sports facilities, cafe, and large playsite with inclusive play equipment.
It was awarded a Green Flag award for 2014-15.
It is the site of the annual open air theatre as well as host to various music events held at the bandstand.

The park is part of a route from Romford town centre to Bedfords Park in the north of the borough, via Rise Park.
