Celebrate the season with the YMCA Orchestra at their annual Christmas Charity Concert, a festive afternoon filled with music, community spirit and Christmas cheer.
This uplifting event brings together a joyful mix of seasonal favourites and orchestral classics, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for audiences of all ages.
The programme includes well-known pieces such as Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, A Christmas Festival, The Snowman, Parade of the Tin Soldiers, the Blue Danube Waltz, Thunder and Lightning Polka, the Colonel Bogey March, and lively selections from ABBA and High School.
During the interval, guests can enjoy complimentary tea, cakes and a festive raffle offering seasonal prizes.
All proceeds support the YMCA Cancer Rehabilitation Programme, which provides specialist fitness and wellbeing services for people recovering from cancer.
The YMCA Orchestra, believed to be the only ensemble of its kind in the world, has served the Havering community since the 1940s.
Today, under the musical direction of Karen Tweddle, the group continues its mission to bring people together through music, welcoming musicians of all ages and abilities.
