Citizenship ceremonies in Havering
The British citizenship ceremony was designed to stress the importance of embracing the diversity of cultures and faiths that make up the UK, playing an active role in society and feeling a sense of belonging to a wider community.
The ceremony is conducted by Registration Officers and includes a speech by a local dignitary. After the ceremony there are light refreshments for citizens and their guests and the opportunity to take commemorative photographs.
Please have your Home Office reference to hand when you make your appointment.
Citizenship ceremonies are held at the stunning venue of Langtons House in Billet Lane, Hornchurch.
Langtons House is also the perfect venue for private citizenship ceremonies which can be held in our citizenship room overlooking the beautiful landscaped gardens.
New citizens can request an individual ceremony at a time and date of their choice. The fee for a private ceremony is £150.
