Havering Talented 30 Scheme 2018
The Havering Talented 30 scheme was established in 2008 in the run up to London 2012 and now continues as an Olympic legacy programme.

To support and enhance this valuable scheme, Havering Council is seeking:
- A title sponsor to contribute to the scheme's running costs and resourcing
- Individual award sponsors
- Scheme supporters contributing £100 to the success of Havering Talented 30

What is the 'Havering Talented 30' Scheme?
It aims to recognise the talents of 30 gifted young people across the full range of cultural activities (including art, sport, music, drama, dance and literature) and support those individuals to develop and enhance their skills and performance through the award of a grant.
What support is available?
The successful applicants will receive £200 each.
What can the grant be used for?
Anything that will help the individual improve his or her activity, e.g. training, equipment, instruction.
Who is eligible for support?
The young person must live in Havering and be aged 19 or under and in full time education to be eligible for support.
What does the Scheme require of the successful young people?
Other than continuing with trying to improve in their chosen activity the only things the scheme requires the young person to do are:
- Attend the awards evening to receive the grant
- Agree to allow the Council to use the information provided to publicise their achievement

When will the talented 30 be announced?
Successful candidates are presented with their cheques at an award ceremony which takes place over the summer.
