Our parks are open however you must observe the Government and NHS advice on social distancing such as keeping 2 metres away from other people. Play areas, tennis courts and outdoor gyms should not be used. People who need to stay at home and self-isolate must do so.

Libraries, leisure centres and arts service changes

All Havering libraries and leisure centres are closed. Havering Music School and Fairkytes Arts Centre are closed. The pre-school on the Fairkytes site is open on in line with government guidance on schools. Our arts and sports events and activity programmes are all cancelled. Our ebooks and audio books, and some online resources, have been extended to temporary members.

Arts and crafts workshop

  • Ever wanted to learn how to paint, or throw a pot?
  • Fancy your hand at needlecrafts or jewellery making?
  • Maybe you long to be able to sing out loud or dance in public but are too nervous?

We have workshops for adults during daytimes and evenings, and for children after school and on Saturdays.

Workshops are normally in ten week blocks, generally commencing in early September, early January, and late April. Contact us or check out our prospectus for details.
