Steps to letting your property

First visit to your property
At the appointment a member of our specialist property procurement team will talk you through the offer in detail and help you choose the product that is right for you. We will take into consideration the size, type and location of your property and discuss the potential rental income that could be achieved from each product.
Meeting pre-letting requirements
When you decide which product is the most suitable for your property, we will talk you through all the required paperwork and checks. If there are any necessary alterations to the property, we will give you the time and support needed to get it ready for letting.
We will carry out a final inspection, ensure that the property meets the required standards and check that all necessary paperwork is in place. We will also conduct a comprehensive photographic inventory and collect the keys
Letting your property
The property will be passed on to our lettings team who will identify a suitable tenant. Your contract with the Council will commence on the same day that the tenant moves in and their tenancy starts. Your guaranteed payments will also start from this date.
On-going property management arrangement
Your property will be looked after by a designated member of our specialist property management team, They will be your point of contact throughout the contract period. They will manage your property and the tenancy, carry out regular inspections and keep in touch with you about anything you need to know.
