Bulky waste from your rented property
As a landlord needing to clear bulky waste you can advise your tenants to book and pay for a bulky waste collection or you can arrange to take the bulky waste to Gerpins Lane Reuse and Recycling Centre yourself.
Please note you will be charged commercial waste rates at Gerpins Lane.
It might be cheaper and better for the environment to recycle the items. Reusing unwanted items is the most environmentally friendly way.
If your bulky item is of good quality it could be reused, for example white goods or furniture.
TCL Reuse charity will possibly collect your item for free. You can call TCL on 020 8553 5880 to discuss further. Please note that they don't do house clearances.
Please consider donating useful but unwanted items to your local charity shop or reuse organisation.
