Restorative justice
Restorative justice underpins the work that we do across the Havering Youth Offending Service, and is proven by research to aid young people in reducing their re-offending by repairing harm caused by their actions.
Havering Youth Offending Service has a dedicated restorative justice manager and worker who ensure the aims of restorative justice are completed both in the YOS and in the community.
In liaison with the police we are committed to contacting all victims of crime perpetrated by young people, and offer them support and opportunities to engage with those young people who have caused harm.
