Enforcement action for safer fireworks night

Havering Council’s licensing and trading standards team have been out across the borough to check on whether local retailers are selling fireworks to young people aged under 18.

    A Romford-based furniture shop has received a £15,000 fine for selling unsafe chairs that did not meet fire safety requirements, following an investigation by Havering Council.
