Temporary mortuary removed but Covid 19 threat remains

The temporary mortuary at South Essex Crematorium has been removed as part of the further scaling back of extra facilities that were set up in March, to cope with the Covid 19 pandemic across London.

    The number of mourners allowed at funerals at South Essex Crematorium will increase from Monday 8 June.

    Havering Council has announced that the South Essex Crematorium Gardens of Remembrance will re-open from Saturday 25 April as part of new government guidance.
