Job seekers in Collier Row are booking into a new venue from this week while a new Community Centre is built in Hillrise Road.

The Job Club, run by Havering CAB on behalf of Havering Council Housing Services, will be taking place at Collier Row Library, 45 Collier Row Road, Collier Row, RM5 3NR every Thursday from 2pm until 5pm.

Deputy Leader of Havering Council and Cabinet Member for Housing, Councillor Damian White, said: “The four weekly Job Clubs we run help local residents find work and access training. The Collier Row Job Club is a popular one and we wanted to keep it open while we build the new Community Centre in Hillrise Road.

“Collier Row Library has room to accommodate the club on a temporary basis and we hope those looking for help, advice and support to find a new job will find it convenient until the new centre opens in late summer this year."
