Havering’s Safer Neighbourhood Board is looking for a new chair.

Safer Neighbourhood Boards (SNBs) hold the police to account for performance, giving Havering residents a greater voice in setting policing priorities. 

The Havering SNB are seeking a chair to direct their work, ensuring this reflects the Mayor of London’s policing objectives. The main responsibilities are chairing and directing quarterly meetings of the Safer Neighbourhood Board (SNB) and attending other meetings to advance the work of the board.  The board is completely independent and voluntary.

The role pays £2,000 a year, which is reviewed annually.
