Extra surgeries to hear views on Housing

Published: Monday, 7 August 2017

Havering residents wanting to comment about housing issues in the borough have got three extra opportunities during August.

Deputy Leader of Havering Council and Cabinet Member for Housing, Councillor Damian White, has added three, day time Housing Surgeries on Thursdays 10 and 17 and Wednesday 23 August to his programme of monthly surgeries across the borough.

The three new surgeries will all be at The Salvation Army in Romford High Street and will offer residents the chance to book a 10-minute slot with Councillor White to discuss housing issues.

Councillor White said: “My monthly surgeries are popular with residents wanting to find out more about housing issues in the borough with questions ranging from repairs delays through to how to qualify for the housing register.

“These extra surgeries mean that people can come and see me during a weekday instead of a Friday evening and I expect them to be popular so early booking is recommended.”
