Get into the Christmas spirit at Romford Market
Hundreds flocked into Romford Market to take part in Havering Council’s magical experience – Kingdom of Elves, on Saturday.
Families were entertained and enchanted as they walked through the Elf Kingdom, played scalextric, and had their picture taken in a giant sleigh. Children also took part in arts and crafts.
Councillor Roger Ramsey, Leader of the Council, said:
“Romford Market was truly a magical experience on Saturday. Children enjoyed decorating Christmas baubles and going on the carousel, which I also went on. It was a fun time for the entire family and I encourage families to also come down this Saturday to meet the Romford Reindeer.”
This Saturday (23 December,) the fun continues with Winter Wonderland at Romford Market from 10:30am to 5.30pm featuring a free giant polar bear, snow globe and live entertainment from Disney princesses Elsa and Anna from Frozen.
The Romford Reindeer will also be out and about from 11am to 3pm in Romford (outside Lloyds Bank).
