Connect with businesses at Havering's biggest networking event

Havering’s biggest business event takes place in just over two weeks and the Council is calling all businesses to come together and network with a difference.
On Thursday 8 February, CEME Conference Centre in Rainham will be filled with leading and innovative businesses such as Tesco PLC, Breyer Group, Crystal Home Improvements and Segro, as well as entrepreneurs, politicians, media representatives and more.
For many years Havering Council’s Business Awards have recognised outstanding achievements by companies throughout the borough and this year, the Council was impressed by the calibre of the finalists. All finalists attending are either leading the way in business growth, customer service or employee engagement.
These companies will all have a number of lessons learnt that they can share with new and growing businesses.
To attend the prestigious awards ceremony, visit www.haveringbusinessawards.co.uk/tickets. Tickets are priced at £70 including VAT.
Councillor Roger Ramsey, Leader of the Council, said:
“Havering Business Awards is a great opportunity for all businesses – both large and small – to network, find new business partners and learn from each other. Every year we host the Business Awards and it’s always full of a variety of people, including those flying the flag for the future of businesses in the borough.
“Not everyone who attends is a business leader. We encourage everyone who is keen to know more about business growth or interested in business affairs to attend.”
Businesses say contacts made at the awards ceremony provide a great source of new business.
Winners from last year also said:
"Staff morale has increased and we have had a very high influx of new customers since winning."
- Purple Valentine Aesthetics, winners of Small Business of the Year 2016"So many doors have opened for me and my business – we’ve raised our profile locally, grown our client base and have been asked to be involved in some really exciting projects; all off the back of winning the Award."
- Dan Evans, Evans Insurance, winner of Business Person of the Year 2016
The awards ceremony will also provide guests with a drinks reception, live entertainment and a three course dinner with wine.
