The Prom Project is an eight week course where the students can learn dressmaking skills, create their own designer label with an outfit that is tailor-made by them, and receive a nationally recognised Arts Award in the process.

The young people will have access to free art and fabric resources, donated to the Council’s Youth Services, that they either use to redesign an outfit or create a bespoke dress through their newly developed skills .

The Prom project starts Thursday 24 May, 5-7pm at myplace Centre in Harold Hill and runs for eight weeks, please book by emailing jane.herbert@havering.gov.uk
