There’s something for everyone as residents are invited to look beyond the music at this year’s 40th anniversary Havering Show on Sunday 26 and Monday 27 August.

Wrestling, Irish dance, a majorettes troupe plus princess, superhero and puppy patrol characters are among the array of entertainment for the whole family over the Bank Holiday weekend

There will be soft play for toddlers, quadbikes, giant inflatables and a free interactive animal experience from Wild Science, whose friendly experts will be bringing with them a diverse range of animals from the cute and fluffy to the exotic, including reptiles, mammals, amphibians and invertebrates.

The enormously popular RCWA wrestlers are returning for their third year and will be entertaining the crowd in the wrestling ring on both days. The Community Performance Stage will host a variety of entertainment, including a Princess sing-along and a Tribute Fest. Over the two days other attractions include a fairground, craft stalls, street food, licensed bars and other refreshments.

Councillor Damian White, Leader of the Council, said:

“This 40th anniversary show promises to be the best so far. We’ve a great range of acts from four decades and a whole host of other talent, as well as attractions that will appeal to everyone, young and old.

“We look forward to seeing you all there.”
