Latest update - 30 November 2018

A spokesperson for Havering Council said:

Allied Healthcare has advised the Council that they are under new ownership from today, 30 November 2018, and will continue to trade as ‘Allied Healthcare’.

This means residents who have been receiving services from Allied’s valued home care workforce will continue to do so.

However, this weekend on Saturday 1December and Sunday 2 December, we are supporting Allied Healthcare in managing some of their home care visits by asking other agencies to step in to provide the care they need.

We are contacting all residents this affects to let them know. However, if anyone is worried over the weekend, please contact our emergency out of hours service on 01708 433999.

Havering Adult Social Care has been working closely with Allied Healthcare over the past month and will continue to do so.

We have been in touch with all residents who received their home care package from Allied, including people who have private arrangements with Allied to discuss the situation with them including any concerns they may have.

We remain committed to ensuring that all residents have continuity of care, with the least disruption possible to the residents and their families.

For anyone who is worried, we will have a dedicated line for residents and their families to contact us.

Please call 01708 434656. This is operational Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm.

We also have an email address for residents: haveringasc.alliedhealthcareconcerns@havering.gov.uk

For any emergency situations between 5pm and 9am or over the weekend, please contact our out of hours service on 01708 433999.
