Public transport
This open space is not served directly by any bus service, although it is located within short walking distance of routes from Hornchurch and Romford. From Hornchurch take the 256 bus to Hilldene Avenue, and walk for a few minutes along Chatteris Avenue. Bosworth Field is on the right-hand side. You can also take the 174 from Romford to Heaton Avenue, then cross Straight Road and follow Briar Road and Waverley Crescent/Myrtle Road.
