Steve Moore confirmed as Havering’s Director of Neighbourhoods

Steve Moore, who has been Havering’s interim Director of Neighbourhoods for the last year, has been confirmed as the new Director on a permanent basis.

This is a key position, overseeing the Place elements of the Council’s activities, including Environment, Regulation, Economic Development, Regeneration and Housing.

Since he arrived in Havering, Steve has overseen a change in the corporate management structure to give it more capacity to rise to the challenges they offer.

Steve has worked at a senior management level for more than 15 years for both the private and public sector. He has operated at Director level for Bristol City Council, Plymouth City Council and the London Borough of Newham.

The appointment comes as the borough is about to embark on a huge regeneration programme.
