Residents living in Elvet Avenue and Durham Avenue, Gidea Park, have elected their new Management Board for the next year.

At the DELTA TMO (Tenant Management Organisation) Annual General Meeting last week Sandy Stevenson was unanimously re-elected as Chairman and Frances Gerlach as Company Secretary and Treasurer.

Sandy said: “The last year has been a successful one for Delta TMO and the next 12 months looks set to be an even better one as we expect work to start on our new office in May as well as other improvements to the estate.

“I am pleased the AGM was so well attended and that we have attracted some new members to the Management Board.”

Deputy Leader of Havering Council and Cabinet Member for Housing, Councillor Damian White, said: “The three TMOs in Havering play an important role in managing those estates and giving residents direct involvement in what happens in their own area.

“I am pleased the DELTA TMO has attracted new members to its Management Board and wish them success for their year of office.”

DELTA TMO (Durham and Elvet Avenue Tenant Management Organisation) took over housing management services from the Council in 2006. It manages 277 flats, bungalows and maisonettes situated in Elvet Avenue and Durham Avenue and four properties in Squirrels Heath Lane in Gidea Park. Around 185 of these are Council tenants with the remainder being leasehold properties.
