Libraries, leisure centres and arts service changes

All Havering libraries and leisure centres are closed. Havering Music School and Fairkytes Arts Centre are closed. The pre-school on the Fairkytes site is open on in line with government guidance on schools. Our arts and sports events and activity programmes are all cancelled. Our ebooks and audio books, and some online resources, have been extended to temporary members.

Havering have joined with other London Library Consortium partners to provide the RBDigital e Audio Service.

For all existing customers to be able to continue to use  this service you will need to re-register your RBDigital account.

Once you have re-registered you can use the service as usual either via the RBDigital App or the Havering Libraries App. 

Using this new site we are able to increase the number of titles you have available, including a starter collection of eAudio language courses from Pimsleur.

Tap the “Register now” link on the app’s main page to create your account in just a few easy steps:

Once registered, you will be automatically logged in and can enjoy our content.

  • Log-in using your Havering library card number and PIN.
  • Install the free supported software.
  • When you find a title you're interested in, add it to the 'Basket' and check it out.
  • Once you have checked out a title, a download page is displayed. Click the 'Download' link to start the download.
  • You can download up to 5 titles at a time.
  • Downloads are available for 7 days or 21 days depending on the format.
  • You will never accrue late fees with titles you download from the eLibrary. Titles expire at the end of the loan period, and they are automatically returned to the library.
  • Titles are not renewable, but can be checked out again after they've ‘expired'.
    1. Choose your country.
    2. Choose 'State the name of your library authority as it appears in the app'.
    3. Enter the requested library card details, create a memorable username and password.

BorrowBox offers easy access to a broad choice of eAudiobooks for you to borrow and listen to through a simple app for smartphones and tablets.

You can also borrow and download your eAudiobooks to your PC or Mac to put them onto an iPod or other MP3 player. 

You can borrow up to 4 eAudiobooks at a time and they'll automatically expire at the end of the three-week loan period, so you won't need to return them.

Upon logging in, your PIN is the last four digits of your library card number, not your library PIN.
