Local authorities must coordinate school admissions to ensure every child applying for a Reception, Junior, or Secondary place receives a single offer on National Offer Day.

Own Admission Authority Schools (Academies, Faith and Foundation)

The governing body or academy trust for these schools is responsible for setting their own admission rules.

By law, these must be published directly on the individual school websites by 15 March each year.
