We have a couple of options for you to get you started.
Litter picking kits for individuals to borrow
The MyPlace Youth and Community Centre in Harold Hill is an official hub for CleanupUK.
Anybody can borrow litter picking equipment from us to carry out their own litter picks in the local community. All you need to do is come in to reception and ask.
We will take your contact details and hand over the equipment.
Please be aware that under 18's will need to be supervised by a responsible adult.
Please take the rubbish home with you and add it to your black sack waste and it will be taken on your collection day.
Please do not attempt to litter pick anything dangerous, like broken glass, syringes and drug paraphernalia.
Instead you could take a photo and make a note of the location, then report this to the MyPlace team who will pass the information on to be disposed of safely.
Litter picking kits for larger groups
For larger groups, litter picking kits are available on a first-come-first-served basis, provided by our street cleaning contractor.
