Luncheon club for retired gentlemen.
The Upminster and District Men’s Probus Club provides an opportunity for retired or semi-retired gentlemen to meet, socialise and make new friends.
We meet on the second Wednesday of each month at The Square in Deyncourt Gardens in Upminster.
Members gather in the bar from 10.30 am where they are able to relax and socialise before lunch commences at noon.
Cost is currently £25. This consists of a 3-course meal followed by tea or coffee and is accompanied by more socialising.
After the meal, we are entertained by a different speaker each month.
This year our talks have ranged from 'Stories About Essex' to a 'History of Industrial Relations at Fords'.
