Scope Out is a new project for the LGBTQ+ community to co-design a legacy for Romford located at Lumiere, The Mercury Mall RM1 3EE.
Scope Out is a series of free creative events for the LGBTQ+ community ages 25 and over.
We want to make Romford more colourful and inviting by placing small welcoming stickers in shop windows, indicating that the LGBTQ+ community are safe here.
We also want to accompany this with a pamphlet for businesses to spot and act on homophobic incidences.
Scope Out will consist of five different meet ups with local LGBTQ+ people to build on our existing community and work towards making Romford more inclusive.

- Thursday 26 February 2026 - Creative Expression – A workshop inviting participants to express their emotions through creativity, focusing on mental well-being.
- Thursday 26 March 2026 - Climbing session at Romford Rock and Boulder – An opportunity to try bouldering, open to all abilities.
