Registering as a childcare provider business
We have prepared the childcare sufficiency report for existing and potential childcare businesses. This report shows which areas in the borough could benefit from additional childcare providers. It gives a breakdown of 2, 3 and 4 year olds capacity and projections by ward level and outline where the needs are.

This pack has been produced by London of Borough of Havering Early Years Teams. It is an aid for prospective early years providers wishing to set up childcare provision in the Borough.
Traded Service Package - Registering as a childcare provider
We understand prospective providers may need more detailed insight into the local market. With this in mind we are piloting a Traded Service Package.
The package will include the following:
- Local ward level data, available vacancy information, delivery of early education and childcare places
- Demographic information – population data for next 5 years by ward, housing developments, ward profile data
- Business Support – 4 hours of support of which 1 hour is face to face meeting, business planning resources, funding sources
The Package is available for a period of 12 months only - from initial point of activity. Cost of this package is £250 lump sum.
There is no refund available once the package has been purchased.
