Following a review, the following is our update about the number of guests allowed to attend ceremonies at Langtons House from 27 August 2021.
We are committed to making sure we move to a position where we can safely increase guest numbers again as we know how important it is for couples marrying with us.
Since the previous update in July 2021, we have worked hard to carry out a thorough review, ensuring all health and safety considerations are taken into account as we still have a duty to keep staff and visitors safe.
We have also taken into account the change in risk with the current Covid 19 infection rate.
For that reason, we are pleased to be able to increase our capacity at weddings and ceremonies from Friday 27 August 2021.
Capacity from 27 August 2021 at Langtons House
East Room – 40
West Room – 40
Orangery/Hall – 70
All numbers above include the bridal couple but exclude those classed as ‘workers’ eg 2 registrars/photographer.
As we are in a very uncertain period of time, for the safety of all concerned we will be reviewing this regularly.
Any further updates will be posted here.
We also want you to know in advance that when you attend your ceremony at Langtons House, Covid 19 secure measures will remain in place within our building.
We advise all visitors to wear a facemask unless they are exempt, we have hand sanitiser readily available and separate entrances and exits, plus other measures in place for the time being, to keep all safe and lessen the likelihood of spreading infection.
You can contact us on 01708 433155. Given the high volumes of telephone calls we are receiving you may wish to email us at
firstname.lastname@example.org and we will do our very best to respond to you as soon as we can.
Please note our telephone lines are open between 9am – 3pm Monday to Friday
We thank you for your continued patience an understanding during this very difficult and uncertain time.
