Christmas in Havering
Havering Council organises a number of Christmas activities throughout the Borough over the festive period. This includes the popular Havering Christmas light switch-on which attracts around 8000 people each year.
Christmas sponsorship opportunities 2023
All Havering Christmas Lights switch-on sponsorship packages for the 2023 event have been sold.
However, we still have trade pitches available for the event. If you are interested in booking a pitch, please contact nicola.bowen@havering.gov.uk for more information and an application form.
We do have opportunities to sponsor the Town Centre Christmas Trees in the following locations:
- Rainham
- Harold Hill
- Upminster
- Hornchurch
Christmas trees sponsoring package
Package cost: £1,500
Sponsoring will give your organisation access to:
- company logo to be included on vinyl banners positioned around the Christmas tree for a 6 week period from mid November to end of December 2023 in your town centre
- your company to be featured in our Business Briefing and Living e-bulletin (72,000, combined distributed throughout Havering)

Langton’s Summer Concert
Langtons Summer Concert is a popular annual event that attracts around 2,000 attendees who are joined by The Mayor of Havering, neighbouring borough’s Mayors and Havering Councillors.
The concert is held in the gardens of Langtons House and is traditionally a sell-out audience of families and friends.
Attendees can bring chairs, blankets, picnics and drinks, whilst enjoying an afternoon of both classical and popular music performed by Westminster Philharmonic Orchestra led by Jonathan Butcher.
We have two sponsorship packages available.
The Silver Package - £3000 Co-sponsor
- A full page advert in the event programme
- Company name and logo added on all publicity

- 4 tickets for the VIP area & refreshments in the Mayor’s Marquee
- 50 guest tickets for the event and welcome to bring a marquee
- Access to interval refreshments in Langtons Hall

The Bronze Package - £1000 Co-sponsor
- A quarter page advert in the event programme
