School parking enforcement

Our School Streets Scheme puts a temporary restriction on motorised traffic at school drop-off and pick-up times.

The restriction applies to school traffic and through traffic.

The result is a safer, healthier and pleasant environment for everyone.

School crossings

Havering has 62 sites where there are school crossing patrols (lollipop people).

If you have some time to spare, and would like to work for just over an hour each day during term time, to help children cross the road on their way to school, then we would like to hear from you.

You will need to be confident, enthusiastic, and reliable - whatever the weather. Full training will be given.
